How to be a Mermaid

This project starts from a collaboration with the director Nur Casadevall. We’ve been in charge of the 3D art direction and development of all digital shots. The story behind this short film says that since she was little, she’s been obsessed with mermaids. She dreamt of being one.

But when was old enough to read the myths — the Odyssey, for example — she realized that they weren’t these perfect idyllic beings, but real manipulators! This video is a homage to what mermaids meant to her, before growing up. But she don’t think she is the only girl who feels this way…
